Porto Torres: voices against the horror of the Shoah from the school windows
For 5 minutes, from the balconies of the school building, teachers and students released towards the sky the words of all those who denounced the tragedy of deportationWords of peace pronounced by the students of the De Amicis middle school , voices of students freed from the windows of the Istituto comprensivo 2 of Porto Torres who, this morning, all read together a passage of their choice taken from books, novels, memoirs, letters, essays, and poems, recounting the Holocaust .

An evocative moment of great impact for an initiative entitled "A window for Memory: but what noise does reading make at school?", organized on the occasion of Remembrance Day by the municipal library of Porto Torres and Lal-legarsi alla Lettura in collaboration with the school, Fidapa-local section, the Comes cooperative, La Camera Chiara and Radio del Golfo. A polyphonic choral reading in homage to the victims of the Shoah.
The parents and many onlookers were outside listening . The librarians and representatives of Lal's partner associations attended the event to share the important moment with the students.
