Porto Torres, abandoned waste: those responsible for two illegal landfills sanctioned
Fines of 600 euros, offenders must also reclaim the sites
The repressive action by the Barracellare company of Porto Torres against the indiscriminate abandonment of waste has borne fruit. The green uniforms have identified the two responsible for the illegal dumps located in two different sites in the area .
A result achieved after identifying the two piles of waste: one on the side of the road in via Pigafetta , where undifferentiated materials of various kinds were deposited, another in Li Lioni , aggregates from renovation works.
Once the operations of ascertaining the sites were completed, the barracelli under the command of Gavino Cuccu started the checks to trace those responsible for the abusive abandonment to whom the fine of 600 euros each was applied.
The process will continue, in collaboration with the municipal councilorship for the environment, for the start of the administrative procedure against the offenders who will have to proceed with the removal of the waste and the reclamation of the sites .
