Another luxury burglary in the heart of the Costa Smeralda. The latest victim of the watch gang is a wealthy Canadian businessman who was followed and attacked to steal the precious Richard Mille watch he was wearing, worth half a million .

As the man got out of his car, he was surprised from behind by two people and held down for the briefest time it took for them to steal his precious watch. He had no choice but to raise the alarm, but the criminals had already disappeared. The Carabinieri immediately began their search, also analyzing the surveillance cameras of the Costa Smeralda.

Thanks to the images, a few days ago, the two alleged perpetrators of a similar robbery in Porto Rotondo were identified and arrested. According to the investigation, they are a specialized, modular gang that operates in various luxury tourist resorts. The latest arrests (as was the case last year) are French-Algerian.

However, it cannot be ruled out that there are accomplices on site who pass the information on to the gang, which is only targeting luxury watches.
