Piazza delle Aquile in Pirri ended up in the crosshairs of an act of vandalism, probably carried out during the night. Several street furniture and windows were damaged.

"It is a shame to witness the consequences of these absurd and cowardly acts of vandalism", comments Marcello Polastri, city councilor and president of the Heritage Commission, who hopes "to identify those who damage our heritage and with it involve considerable expenses for the houses. Fortunately, many social messages are arriving on who could have done such a mess. In this beautiful square that cost one million euros and which, by now, can only undergo improvements, compared to what has unfortunately suffered vandalism " .

Already tomorrow, he anticipates, an inspection will be carried out to estimate the damage.

Polastri filed a deed to be able to intervene and to resolve the situation: "That this area is a destination for stragglers was in fact reported to me by many of our fellow citizens".
