The Police Headquarters' Flying Squad conducted an operation against drug dealing in the Quartucciu area and the Cagliari neighborhoods of San Michele and Pirri. Three arrests were made in recent days.

During the operations, approximately 600 grams of hashish, 40 grams of marijuana, and 15 grams of cocaine were seized, some of which had already been divided into doses ready for sale.

The home of one of the arrested men, where ten thousand euros in cash were also seized, had been equipped with a complex video surveillance system, consisting of 15 cameras, which served to constantly monitor the surrounding area and, perhaps, prevent possible police checks.

The investigation also benefited from the support of the canine units of the Guardia di Finanza and the State Police, who acted during the searches: the drug-sniffing dogs Abba, Cesar and Pyton , thanks to their keen sense of smell, allowed the officers to identify and recover a large part of the narcotic substance.

At the end of the validation hearing and the simultaneous summary trial, the arrested men were granted time to defend themselves.
