Perdaxius, sets fire to the branches and causes a fire: reported
The investigations traced back to the person responsible for the fire on May 24th
The agents of the Forestry and Environmental Supervisory Body contested the crime of fire committed by a person who, by setting fire to vegetable residues, had caused the fire of last May 24 in Perdaxius .
The staff of the forest stations of Carbonia and Sant'Antioco had intervened to put out the flames. Only the work of numerous fire crews had prevented the flames from spreading further.
At the end of the investigations carried out on the places and causes of the event, the investigations made it possible to reconstruct the dynamics of the facts: the branches had been burned on a windy and hot day, in land where the tall grass did not it had been mown and in the complete absence of the required fire barriers.
The suspect will be charged with arson.
