Paulilatino: A car overturns on the 131, leaving a man and a woman in critical condition.
After the alarm, firefighters, the 118 air rescue service and the police went into actionAn investigation is underway into the fatal road accident that occurred on State Road 131 , in the Paulilatino area, near the Santa Cristina turnoff. For reasons yet to be determined, a Ford Ecosport traveling toward Cagliari overturned and landed on a ditch. Two people, a man and a woman, sustained serious injuries.
After the alarm was raised, a team from the Abbasanta detachment responded to the scene and used cutting equipment to extract the two people on board, who were trapped in the passenger compartment. They were then rushed to the hospital with critical conditions: one of the injured was taken by 118 air ambulance to San Francesco Hospital in Nuoro, the other to San Martino Hospital in Oristano.
Law enforcement officers were also on site to carry out legal investigations.
