He didn't like a check in his cell, so he attacked an inspector and two prison officers .
The episode occurred in Bancali prison, in Sassari : the inmate first lashed out at the policemen, then at the inspector who intervened to bring him back to calm. Jolted and hit, the officers were injured, but nothing serious .
The national secretary of the Consipe union, Roberto Melis , denounced the episode: «Yet another attack against prison police personnel. An event that caused physical damage to the policemen, but what is even more serious is that in this whole ugly affair a woman, the inspector, was attacked, pushed and pulled ."
The union, Melis continues, "has sent a letter to the prison leaders asking for the departmental provisions to be applied and for the immediate removal of the inmate who was the protagonist of this vile gesture".
