A violent attack occurred this morning in Padru , where a 31-year-old man was hit by a hit-and-run driver inside the recycling center where he had gone to throw away his waste.

The alarm was raised by a relative who was with him and who said it was not an accidental collision .

From the initial reconstruction of the incident, it appears that the man had an argument with a man and a woman while he was on his way to take out the garbage: the thirty-one-year-old was first struck and, once on the ground, was hit by a car in which, it appears, the couple was traveling.

The Carabinieri are on the scene and are now hunting for the car and the person responsible for the accident.

The 31-year-old was immediately rescued and taken to the hospital in Olbia : his condition is serious. He suffered chest and abdominal trauma.
