Irregularities on 900 pairs of shoes of various types, all of Chinese production , intended for retail sale: this is what the Carabinieri of the NAS of Cagliari discovered in a commercial establishment in the capital, in via Castiglione .
The products were found to be without labels or had non-compliant labels, lacking an indication of the materials used, the composition and the explanation of the symbols shown, in violation of the legislation on the right to correct information for the final consumer.
The goods, with an estimated commercial value of around 7,000 euros, were seized. Technical checks and sampling are also underway to verify the possible presence of substances dangerous to public health that could be released by the materials used.
The activity was conducted to protect consumers and will be the subject of further investigation by the NAS of Cagliari, which is continuing its investigations.
