Ossi, he was wandering around with a rifle outside the downtown premises: arrested

Arrested in Ossi for carrying a clandestine weapon and receiving stolen goods.

On the night between December 26th and 27th, the Carabinieri intervened and arrested a man following an anonymous tip. He was allegedly wandering with a gun near the downtown nightclubs, which were frequented by many young people at that time.

Patrols found the suspect not far from his home and, nearby, on a dry stone wall, a 12-gauge over-and-under shotgun, hand-cut and with the serial number erased, complete with ammunition and ready for use.

The suspect reported that the weapon was his, offered no resistance, and was transferred to the Sassari police station, where the aforementioned charges were formalized. On the morning of Saturday, December 27, the preliminary investigations judge of the Sassari court validated the arrest and ordered house arrest.
