Oristano, off the road with the car: a 38-year-old from Cabras dies, a very serious woman
The car overturned and hit a treeTragedy in the early afternoon in Oristano.
One death and one wound in very serious conditions , this is the heavy toll of the accident that took place on the provincial road 1 in Torregrande, on the coast of Oristano.
The victim is Nicola Spanu, a 38-year-old musician from Cabras . The woman who was with him in the car, Michela Ladu, 41, from Oristano , was stabilized and then transferred to the Sassari hospital by helicopter rescue.
The two were traveling in a Citroen that skidded and went off the road, overturning and crashing into a tree . The causes of the skid have to be ascertained, perhaps a curve taken too wide.
The driver and passenger were trapped in the cockpit: when the rescuers arrived, the 38-year-old had nothing more to do, he died instantly. The woman is hospitalized in critical condition .
On the spot, in addition to the 118 ambulances and the helicopter rescue, also the firefighters, the municipal police officers and those of the State Police.
