Oristano: here's where to park your car during the Sartiglia

Entertainment, tradition but also safety and rules to be respected.

La Sartiglia, scheduled for Sunday and Tuesday in Oristano, returns with several new features in terms of health care, entrance fees to the event, but also parking and transport. More than 10,000 spectators are expected.

The counting of the public, incoming and outgoing, will be possible thanks to the gates positioned to enter the historic center of the city. They will be present in piazza Manno, via Crispi, Ciutadella de Menorca, Eleonora, San Francesco, piazza Roma, Serneste, Portixedda, Solferino, Figoli, piazza Mariano, via Mariano IV and vico Mazzini. The Municipality and the Oristano Foundation recommend parking your car far from the center of the city, however bordered by New Jersey.

According to plan prepared by the local police of Oristano, 4319 parking spaces are foreseen: the areas where it is possible to park are at the Porta Nuova shopping center and at the shopping center in via Dublin. Then at Eurospin in via Zara and via Lussu. Then in the car parks behind the courthouse, in via Carducci, in the extension of viale Repubblica but also in via Campania, Umbria, Sardegna, Lazio, Marconi, Lombardia, Tirso, Canepa, Puccini, Cimarosa, Bellini, Solferino, Manzoni, Rockefeller, Ibba, Deledda, Diaz, San Francesco, Mariano IV and Petri. From tomorrow a medical point will be set up in the Arst car park with a field tent equipped with 6 beds.
