Oristano, dog locked in car under the sun: saved by firefighters

He remained locked in the car, under the scorching sun, for over an hour and a half. Then a poor Beagle was saved by firefighters.

It was around 5pm when a woman noticed a dog stuck inside a Citroen, parked between via Marche and via Campania. Windows closed, temperature at around 40 degrees inside the cockpit and the poor example of Beagle in obvious difficulty. The intervention of the local police was immediately requested and they immediately alerted the firefighters: a few minutes and the 115 men opened the car and rescued the dog.

At the sight of the rescuers, the poor Beagle began to wag his tail and was immediately quenched and cuddled by the firefighters until the arrival of the owners, two French tourists who were reprimanded for leaving the dog in those conditions, putting his life at serious risk. his life. The tourists would also have protested because the car was broken into, but now they risk being charged for animal cruelty.
