He escaped from the Carabinieri and was arrested for drug dealing in Sassari. On Saturday, June 13, the Carabinieri officers noticed a man in his car. Upon seeing the police, he abandoned the car and fled on foot through the streets of the historic center.

On Monday the 15th, the Carabinieri located the suspect and, after searching both him and the vehicle, found, hidden under the seat, a purse containing approximately 8.80 grams of marijuana, already divided into doses, and 13 grams of heroin. They also found a precision scale and €25 in cash, in bills of various denominations, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.

A 47-centimeter hammer, a 13-centimeter switchblade, and two box cutters were also recovered. The man is under house arrest pending a validation hearing.
