After the wild boars that, for months, invaded the city streets, geese are arriving in Olbia.

Last night, two were spotted on via Barcellona by a passerby who stopped to save them. One was hit by a car and died, the other was rescued and taken to Lida.

"The gentleman contacted all the relevant bodies but either they didn't respond or they were busy and told him to contact our shelter," Lida wrote on social media. Adding: "The little one was brought to us but we are not yet equipped for the geese," they joked from the Fratelli minori shelter.

"If the geese belong to someone, we ask you to contact us and, only after proof of ownership, we will return the animal, otherwise contact us to adopt it", is the invitation of Lida and the first requests for adoption are already pouring in.
