The Refettorio dell'Arte , an evocative space in Vicolo della Refezione, in the heart of the historic center of Olbia , has reopened its doors for the usual welcome of children during the Christmas period . This year with an additional novelty regarding the installations curated by a work that involved many young students.

Home to creative workshops during the holidays, all its decorations were the result of the EducAttivo Project “Arte in Pillole”, promoted by the Department of Public Education, and organized by the Mediterrarte Association.

The workshops, aimed at the children of the “Fabrizio de Andrè” Musical Artistic High School, were created by the set designer Battistina Casula who led the children in the creation of the Christmas Cardboard Village, an installation created with a particular technique that uses cardboard and with which the city, its buildings and characteristic places such as the Isola Bocca Lighthouse and the Basilica of San Simplicio were reproduced.

Many high school classes applied themselves over the course of a week and with enthusiasm and dedication made the Refectory artistic and even more welcoming . The space will remain open until December 24th, from 10am to 1pm and from 3.30pm to 7.30pm with the Elves Workshop, a Christmas and green themed recreational moment managed by the Mediterrarte and Sas Janas associations.
