The Cedac theater season also starts in Olbia. From January 12th there will be eight shows scheduled in "La grande Prosa", the best protagonists of the scene on the stage of the CinemaTeatro Olbia.

The curtain opens with the young and pungent actress Annagaia Marchioro, who with “#Pourparler” takes us into the fantastic world of the word, a one woman show that borders on stand-up. A new, tailor-made text for Vanessa Scalera who on Friday 26 January will be among the performers of "The Best Sister", a play centered on a case of road homicide. On February 2, Gigio Alberti and Amanda Sandrelli arrive in Olbia with “Vicini di casa”, an adaptation of a successful Spanish comedy, winner of the audience award. A tribute to local production in the iconic portrait of the "Sardinian Mother" in the musical theater show "Oja, o Ma" taken from the book "My mother and other catastrophes" by the journalist and writer Francesco Abate; on stage on Friday 23 February, it is played by Lia Careddu and Rossella Faa who alternate in a duo with Fabio Marceddu.

Wednesday 6 March, tribute to Mattia Torre with "456", a black comedy written and directed by the genius of the pen who passed away prematurely. A moment dedicated to memory with Cinzia Spanò who on Friday 22 March brings to the stage "Palma Bucarelli and the other Resistance", a portrait of one of the first female museum directors in the fascist era. The famous “Duck with Orange” is expected on April 5th; equally well-known are the performers who bring it back into vogue, Emilio Solfrizzi and Carlotta Natoli. The event closes on Friday 19 April with Federico Buffa's storytelling (accompanied on the piano by Alessandro Nidi) entitled “Number 23/ Life and splendors of Michael Jordan”.

«This year too we are offering a nice calendar that will be sold out - said the councilor for culture, Sabrina Serra -. It will be important to introduce younger people to the theater so we will decide on the opportunity to propose reruns. I thank Cedac and Cine Teatro Olbia for their availability."

The poster was illustrated by the artistic director, Valeria Ciabattoni. «We are willing to accept the proposal to work with young people because they are the spectators of tomorrow - he added - Live entertainment is a fragile reality and we continually need to make new talent fall in love with it. The calendar was designed trying to listen to our Olbia public who always follows the season with great attention." The methods of accessing the tickets, which can only be purchased at the box office, were explained by the manager of the Theatre, Cesare Lombardo: first the season ticket renewal campaign will start (from tomorrow until 23 December) while from 2 to 10 January 2024 they will be on sale the new packages; from January 12th the possibility of purchasing a single ticket at a cost of 16 euros.
