Public Safety Summit in Olbia, the Provincial Public Order and Safety Committee met this morning to take stock of the situation in the city and develop the actions to be taken.

"Olbia has specific characteristics that deserve an independent study with respect to the rest of the territory that allows the activities of the police to be directed without inefficiencies and therefore coordinating interventions and services", said the prefect, Grazia La Fauci, at the working table together with the provincial police commissioner, Filiberto Mastrapasqua, the provincial commander of the Carabinieri, Massimiliano Pricchiazzi, the provincial commander of the Guardia di Finanza, Marco Sebastiani, his colleague from the Fire Department, Antonio Giordano, the commander of the territorial State Police, Raffaele Bracali, the commander of the local Police, Giovanni Mannoni, the mayor, Settimo Nizzi, and the extraordinary commissioner of the north-east Gallura province, Rino Piccinnu. The focus of the meeting is on Olbia where, added La Fauci "it is necessary to focus on the crime prevention machine: with the mayor there is a consonance of intent already tested last year when we made an initial assessment of the conditions of urban security in the summer season, today we are doing it also with respect to the ordinary life of the city, even in winter".
