They defied the rain, the eighty volunteers of the Celebrations Committee and the courageous patrons under umbrellas: in Olbia the San Simplicio Mussel Festival respected its tradition.

This afternoon in the Fausto Noce park, queuing up in front of two pans with a diameter of two meters, curious and gourmands, tourists and visitors from other parts of the island, waited to taste the fifty quintals of mussels, rigorously cooked from five hundred liters of red wine and Vermentino produced by the Cantina Sociale di Monti.

Confirmed, despite the weather conditions, the concert by Giusy Ferreri who at 10pm will sing on the stage of the Fausto Noce. Tomorrow, starting at 4 pm in viale Isola Bianca (and live on Videolina), the Palio della Stella: the banner of San Simplicio, currently guarded by the Municipality of Monti, which in the last edition brought home the en plein of stars, twenty-six Municipalities of Gallura.
