During a series of searches of several homes, the Guardia di Finanza (Fiamme Gialle) officers, assisted by canine units, seized 1.5 kg of narcotics: amphetamine, cocaine, hashish, marijuana, and even the infamous "Amnesia," a drug capable of causing permanent damage to the nervous system, especially in adolescents.
Also found were two pistols , one of which was a modified blank gun designed for offensive purposes, two toy guns without the required red cap and completely identical to the real ones, an electric stun gun, various ammunition, some home-made explosive devices, as well as a balaclava, a truncheon, knuckle dusters, burglary tools and a license plate for a foreign car which had been reported missing.
Approximately €65,000 in cash, in notes of various denominations ranging from €20 to €200, a Rolex watch worth over €8,000, and two money counting machines were found and seized.
The money is believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing, also because it did not match the income profiles of the six arrested, most of whom were young and unemployed.
During the investigation, it was possible to ascertain how the arrested individuals obtained substances for sale via the so-called dark web or by communicating on Telegram.
The Tempio Pausania Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered the suspects to be held in Bancali prison, while the minor has been placed under house arrest.
