New Plastic free event, tomorrow in Olbia, sponsored by the Port System Authority of the Sardinian Sea. Coordinated by the provincial representative of the association committed to safeguarding the planet from pollution, Antonella Sotgiu, a team of over fifty volunteers, starting at 9, will clean Cala Saccaia from the sea of waste (and plastic) present in the highly valuable naturalistic site.
" A magnificent ecosystem, three beaches and a pond, very fragile , submerged by a large quantity of waste of all kinds that constitutes a real environmental disaster", says Sotgiu.
Cala Saccaia, a coastal strip of the Sa Testa promontory overlooking the city's industrial area, is the last unspoiled area of Mediterranean scrub before the beaches of the Olbia coast .
