A 40-year-old man was transported in red code to the emergency room of the Giovanni Paolo II hospital in Olbia after being hit on via Torino.

The man's personal details are not yet known: he did not have any type of document with him and it is not excluded that he could be a homeless person. The incident occurred in the early hours of this afternoon in the historic center of Olbia.

The driver of the car, a resident of Olbia, was also slightly injured. Local police officers arrived on the scene and carried out the necessary investigations.
