Olbia, over a thousand fake designer items: two street vendors reported, seizures triggered

Over 1,100 items of counterfeit clothing and accessories from the most famous Italian and international fashion houses were discovered and seized by the Guardia di Finanza in Olbia during checks over the Christmas period.

Two street vendors, both Italian and Senegalese, were also reported : they were selling products with logos and distinctive signs identical to those of well-known luxury brands but lacking the necessary authenticity features and required safety standards.

The seized items, including watches, bags, shoes, scarves, jackets, and sportswear, would have fetched several thousand euros once put on sale.
