Olbia, non-standard values: bathing ban in Pittulongu

Values out of the norm, bathing prohibited on the entire Pittulongu beach .

The mayor, Settimo Nizzi, issued the ordinance imposing a temporary ban on bathing for almost four kilometers of the stretch of water on the Olbia beach , following a communication from Arpas which today detected the presence of intestinal enterococci in the sea in values tripled compared to those limit.

"We take note of what was communicated by Arpas with which we are in direct contact and we will have the results relating to the new levy shortly", says Nizzi who hopes to resolve the situation quickly to allow tourists and fellow citizens to fully enjoy the beaches.
