"Here in San Simplicio, whenever it rains heavily, flooding is always a daily occurrence," says Maurizio Deiana, who lives on Via Brigata Sassari in Olbia.

It's the same story as a month ago: a single downpour was enough to flood some of the city's streets again. The most critical areas were in the San Simplicio neighborhood.

A sleepless night for the residents of the area who once again had to deal with fear.

Some residents had to leave their homes for fear of being alone in their house surrounded by water. After a difficult night, the situation improved, but the problems remain.

Would they have bought this house anyway, knowing about this situation? "Absolutely not, I would have looked elsewhere. I didn't know, so I had to take what I got," is the reply.
