The accusation of the Tempio Prosecutor's Office for a 22-year-old boy was very serious, the young man was accused of having raped a 17-year-old student on the beach of Marinella, in Olbia. The accusation was aggravated by the fact that the victim, according to the indictment, was in a condition of "manifest mental inferiority" due to massive alcohol consumption.
The trial, held with the abbreviated rite in Tempio, brought to light numerous inconsistencies in the girl's story and none of the circumstances (events of July 2022) were proven.
The young man, defended by the lawyer Marzio Altana, was acquitted for not having committed the crime. The lawyer asked for and obtained a full acquittal for his client. In the space of a few weeks in Tempio, three trials (lasting several years) for very serious and repeated sexual violence (in one case against minors) resulted in acquittals.
