A couple got into a heated argument inside a restaurant in Olbia, requiring the intervention of two Carabinieri officers and four police officers to stop them. According to the case filed against an Albanian man and a Lithuanian woman (both 43 years old), all hell broke loose in the restaurant on Sunday evening.
The two began arguing and harassing customers. The Carabinieri from the Olbia Mobile Radio Unit arrived on the scene, followed by a patrol car from the police station. According to the documents, the most agitated was the woman, who greeted the Carabinieri and State Police personnel with kicks and spits.
The Lithuanian client railed against the Carabinieri and attacked them, while also managing to throw her Albanian friend down the stairs. The two were restrained and arrested for assault and resisting arrest. Represented by criminal lawyer Donatella Corronciu, they will appear before the Tempio Pausania Court tomorrow.
