The firefighters intervened at the Olbia hospital, in pavilion D1, for a fire in the stairwell: a trolley used by the cleaning staff had caught fire.

Only the rapid intervention and timely alarm of the maintenance managers prevented the fire and smoke from involving other floors and departments: the blaze was immediately put out also thanks to the good functioning of the fire doors.

No one was injured or intoxicated, the causes are under investigation.
