With a lightning-fast intervention, last October 6th, they saved the life of a girl of just eighteen months who, having swallowed a plastic cap, risked suffocating.
Giusy Ventroni and Stefano Dessanti, the agents of the local police of Olbia protagonists of the providential gesture, received an official commendation from the hands of the mayor Settimo Nizzi. During the celebrations of the feast of San Sebastiano, yesterday in the Basilica of San Simplicio, the mayor of Olbia recognized the two brigades, led by commander Giovanni Mannoni, for their timeliness and coolness in carrying out the unblocking manoeuvre, indispensable for allow the baby to breathe until the ambulance arrives.
