The hunt is on for the attacker who in the early hours of this morning seriously injured a 32-year-old Roman tourist with a club during a brawl in one of the parking lots on Marinella beach, in the Gulf of Olbia.

According to the reconstruction by the police, two groups of young people, just leaving two well-known clubs on the seafront where they had spent the night of Ferragosto, began to argue in the square where they had parked their cars . The situation then degenerated, perhaps due to alcohol abuse, until one of the protagonists of the fight grabbed a stick and hit one of the rivals on the head .

The alarm was raised immediately, the 118 doctors arrived on site with the ambulance and the patrol officers of the Olbia police station. The injured man was first transported to Giovanni Paolo II and then transferred to the Neurosurgery department of the Sassari hospital. He is in a reserved prognosis and will be operated on in the next few hours : he suffered a subdural hematoma .
