Two hundred and six years in two for Francesca Gagliardi and Tomasina Ruiu, both residents of Olbia.

The two grandmothers had their birthdays in recent days and the mayor Settimo Nizzi wanted to visit them to wish them well on behalf of all the citizens.

Francesca Gagliardi blew out one hundred candles on the cake on 28 April 2024, while Tomasina Ruiu, born on 17 April, turned 106, becoming the longest-living person in the Gallura city.

In addition to congratulations and greetings, the mayor gave both of them a parchment.
