An eighteen year old girl who rebels against the world of prostitution, her tormentors who brutally beat and rape her to punish her. And now finally, all those responsible have been arrested.

Twenty-two years later, the main person responsible for that attempted murder, Koka Dashamir, was arrested in Albania after a long period of hiding. The facts date back to 2001 when the very young woman was taken from Tirana, her city of origin, to Olbia with the promise of a job: instead she ended up in the clutches of an organization dedicated to prostitution, which wanted to force her to sell his body under daily threats and acts of violence.

The 18-year-old had no intention of giving in to blackmail. But this is how his torture began. To punish her, her tormentors forcibly loaded her into a van : she was taken to an isolated place, a sheepfold in Putzolu, blindfolded, beaten and raped with a stick . Abandoned lifeless in a dark area in Monte Pino, with very serious injuries, she was hit by a car.

The boys on board, originally from Tempio, convinced that they were the ones who had caused her very serious bleeding, immediately took her to hospital. The doctors, however, immediately understood that those wounds had nothing to do with the investment .

Thus began the investigations by the Carabinieri of Olbia, conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of Tempio Pausania, which made it possible to identify the perpetrators of the violence, who were subjected to arrest as a crime suspect. The trial lasted years because in the meantime the victim, who had suffered permanent disability as a result of the attack, had escaped and hidden in Albania. Eventually the sentences arrived, including a five-year sentence for Kaja Trendelina, the woman who convinced the young woman to move to Olbia.

After the sentence became irrevocable on 27 December 2016, the Tempio Prosecutor's Office issued a European arrest warrant against Dashamir , who fled to Albania. Last November 20, the man was identified and arrested thanks to the Interpol of the Ministry of the Interior and the Interpol of Tirana. He will have to serve 11 years in prison.
