He lost control of his pick-up and crashed into a large tree on Monti-Berchidda .

The accident occurred yesterday late in the evening, around 10pm. The impact was very violent and the Olbia firefighters had to work for about an hour to extract the unfortunate victim stuck between the sheets of the car .

Also on site were the 118 staff, who took care of the man and took him to hospital, and the carabinieri to carry out investigations at the site of the crash, the causes of which are yet to be established.
