A joke or a gesture attributable in some way to those carried out by environmentalists who have targeted works of art and symbolic places?

«Disgraceful gesture and demonstration of total incivility and lack of respect». This is how Mayor Andrea Soddu comments on the act of vandalism. «The scar - continues the mayor - was made not only on a work that honors our fellow citizen Nobel Prize winner, but, due to its symbolic value, towards the entire city. We are no longer willing to accept these ignoble and cowardly gestures. Whoever vandalized the statue should learn the culture of respect . We will restore the ruined work as soon as possible, but there remains a lot of indignation and bitterness for an act that offends all citizens ».
