Nuoro, courier hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing

A courier was hit this morning on a pedestrian crossing while crossing via Trieste in Nuoro.

The man was carrying a package and was hit by a Fiat Panda, causing him to fall heavily to the ground.

The local police officers and the 118 paramedics arrived on site and transported the unfortunate man to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro.

The scene was captured by a surveillance camera and the images are making the rounds on the web.
