“Dear teacher” …. Thus begins an email that arrived on December 5th, a few hours before the end of school lessons, in the personal inbox of a teacher at an elementary school in Nuoro . Email justifying his son , who was unable to practice the flute due to the disturbance caused to the other residents of the building .

An email where the mother, emphasizing the "importance" of the task, asked the teacher to host her son in her home while practicing with the instrument. A few direct lines and a no-nonsense justification: «Dear teacher, I wanted to let you know that my son will not be able to practice the flute at home for the well-being of the condominium. However, I would like to make myself available to accompany him to his home to carry out the exercise, given and considering the importance of the task. I wish you a good day and send you my regards."

The teacher's response (we are not revealing her name to protect the little one, who is unfortunately at the center of this story) came immediately. But it wasn't entrusted to a keyboard and a reply email. The teacher called his mother on the phone: «I explained to her – he says – that I would only have him practice in class so as not to disturb the balance of the condominium and that of his mother ».

On the phone the mother had explained that the ban was dictated by the condominium regulations.
