The Notte Bianca (White Night) scheduled for Friday in the Barbagia capital, announced at the beginning of the week as a corollary to a series of events in the center of Nuoro, has been postponed to September 20.
The reason? "For authorization reasons, by virtue of the fact that there are formal obligations to fulfill to obtain permits and authorizations in terms of public safety," announces the president of the Corso Garibaldi natural shopping center Salvatore Piredda who yesterday met with the municipal offices, the same Piredda, who had publicly noted the date on the calendar of the Nuoresi.
In fact, however, no one had started formal requests for authorization to the Police Headquarters, and this, given the necessary technical issues, would have imposed a race against time with an uncertain outcome despite the fact that the demonstration had been requested from the Municipality by Piredda himself since August 1. In these weeks, however, in the offices of the building on Via Dante, it has been a race after cultural events, from the Europeade to the Redentore festival, and what seemed to be just a formality has turned into a stumbling block.
"Unfortunately, I was told that several safety authorizations are needed, even though it is actually an event that brings together commercial businesses that already operate in the area, and that the risk was not to get the green light in time. For this reason, with the reassurances of active collaboration, we preferred to postpone everything to September 20, trying to get the green light for the other initiatives in the program as well." The great Danztas kermesse has been confirmed, which will take place on Saturday from 5:30 pm in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele.
