Already served with a custody order for drug possession and dealing, a thirty-year-old DJ, well-known in the Cagliari nightlife scene, is now also facing charges of disseminating child pornography.

The investigations, coordinated by the Anti-Mafia District Directorate and conducted by the Investigative Unit of the Carabinieri of Cagliari, have revealed a ramified and opaque system. At the center of the investigation is an alleged ring of synthetic drugs - ketamine, MDMA and the dangerous 2C-B - that supplied some clubs frequented by the city's youth. But during the analysis of the seized devices, much more emerged.

According to leaks, between December 2023 and June 2024, the suspect allegedly shared child pornography images and videos several times in closed groups and encrypted channels, passed off as spaces for promoting events and parties. In reality, they were hidden showcases of seriously illicit content, visible even to non-profiled users, with potentially widespread distribution.

Forensic analysis confirmed the nature of the files, and investigators are now trying to trace the origin of the material and the digital network the man frequented. The goal is to clarify whether he was a simple user or if the DJ had an active role in the distribution chain.

At the moment, investigations are continuing to verify any involvement of third parties and define the exact perimeter of responsibilities.

The incident has deeply shaken the city's nightlife scene, where the DJ was known as a leading face at parties and festivals.
