Five special trains will be added to the existing routes – for a total of nearly 1,200 more seats than usual – to facilitate the mobility of attendees at the various concerts that will enliven the final days of 2025 in Sardinia.

The regional department of Trenitalia-FS Group announced them, in agreement with the Sardinia Region in view of next December 31st.

The trains, a note explains, will be active for the Ghali concert on the night of December 28th in Assemini and for the concerts on the night of December 31st 2025 by Max Pezzali in Sassari and Marco Mengoni in Olbia.

In particular, these are the regional trains Cagliari – Decimomannu at 7.55 pm (active on December 28), Decimomannu- Cagliari at 12.25 am (active on December 29), Sassari – Olbia Terranova at 3.35 pm (active on December 31), Olbia Terranova – Sassari at 5.30 am (active on January 1), Sassari – Cagliari at 6.00 am (active on January 1).

"This special service," Trenitalia continues, "will allow those who prefer to leave their cars at home to participate in events in complete safety."

The company's statement reminds that "you are permitted to board only with a ticket. It is recommended that you purchase your return ticket in advance. Tickets can be purchased on trenitalia.com and the Trenitalia app, or at the station at physical and automatic ticket machines, as well as at 4,700 points participating in the Lottomatica, Sisal, and SIR (tobacconists) networks."
