A simplified path to create the new stadium in Cagliari, through an ad hoc regulation. In addition to the possibility of appointing a commissioner and setting up an equity fund, a real estate fund and feeding the guarantee system by reducing the interest paid by the companies.

These are the topics on the agenda of the summit which was held this morning in which the president of the rossoblù club Tommaso Giulini , the Corporate managing director Carlo Catte , the Business and Media director Stefano Melis , the board member Stefano Signorelli , the industrial partners of the Costim Group and Impresa Percassi, the Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti , the Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi , the representatives of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and Credito Sportivo. But in the videoconference there were also representatives of the Municipality of Cagliari (engineers Daniele Olla and Salvatore Farci ) and of the regional programming center ( Marco Naseddu and Gianluca Cadeddu ). Also supporting Cagliari Calcio and its partners are the engineer Alessandro Gosti and the lawyer Marco Cerritelli .

An announced meeting, which is part of a series started by the ministers of the Meloni Government on the topic of sports infrastructures, in particular the stadiums that could host some matches of the European Football Championships in 2032.

«It was a positive and proactive working table», explains Stefano Melis after the closing of the meeting, «in which the various actors involved showed a renewed impulse in identifying a simplified path towards the creation of modern stadiums for the country. Like other Italian cities", he reiterated, "Cagliari and Sardinia deserve to have large public infrastructures with social value as soon as possible, suitable for hosting large international events".

Municipal companies and technicians took stock of the design and authorization process , as well as the critical issues found in a procedure that proved slow and cumbersome, with costs that grew exponentially with the passing of (too ) time.
