Shedding clothing and thoughts: this is the motto of the first "Naturist Honey Picnic," the naturist event where, completely naked, participants sampled citrus honey produced by Diana De Luca and Simone Muscas' farm, just outside Monastir. The initiative sparked curiosity beyond the island's borders: more than 200 requests arrived, not only from Sardinia but also from other parts of Italy. The event stems from its organizers' belief that being naked isn't about showing off, but about rediscovering a more authentic connection with oneself and the surrounding environment.

The freedom to express oneself

"We've always been naturists," says De Luca, "and we asked ourselves why not create a place that allows others to practice it too? There's no better place than a citrus grove and the bees working alongside it to find peace and tranquility." De Luca and Muscas began practicing naturism on the beaches of Formentera. In Italy, it was more difficult, hence the idea of recreating a place all their own where people could feel free to enjoy this experience without fear or prejudice. "We selected 18 questions, and everyone asked us how they should behave. Being naked doesn't give you the freedom to behave differently than when you're dressed. Everyone who comes here can have a different experience where the basic rules are always the same."
