Eight days and no trace of Davide Calvia or of the boat on which the diver from Sassari was lost together with his cousin Giovannino Pinna, found alive after more than 24 hours at the mercy of the waves .

Sister Nadia has created a Facebook group, "Together for Davide Calvia ": the aim is to shed light on the matter, because " the agony of not knowing is devastating, it tears you apart inside ".

“I want you to come out, dead or alive. I want at least a body to cry over», says Nadia, who has not lost hope of finding her brother alive and believes that there are several obscure points in this affair .

"My brother wasn't a shin of a saint, everyone knows that, but he didn't rape or kill anyone." Nadia suspects that there was another boat at sea that night , that the two castaways did something that could not be done (for example stealing fish) and got into trouble.

«Too many things that don't add up», starting with the stolen boat ( « But it doesn't mean it was them, there were life jackets, wetsuits and SOS rockets on board, they would have found them, maybe that was the second boat at sea that night »). What boat were Giovannino Pinna and Davide Calvia on the other hand? " A friend lent it to Davide, my cousin said ."

What is certain is that Davide and the boat vanished: « It's not possible – Nadia despairs – that they haven't found even a trace. When the SOS was launched it was still light and the helicopter of the fire brigade took off ».

There is very little hope of finding him alive, continues Nadia. But not null: according to his thesis, David could be " held back by someone, or hide out of fear or still wander aimlessly, completely bewildered ".

Many obscure points, doubts and suspicions, but "no starting point, no valid clues and total darkness about everything".

«We would like to know what happened, we would like to at least find the body to give him a proper burial and be able to mourn him. And if my brother made a mistake and is found alive, I will be the first to make what he did public », concludes Nadia.
