A female genetic profile was also detected in a scarf or, in any case, in some of the clothes or objects present in the house in via Ghibili , where last December 5 the lifeless bodies of Luigi Gulisano and his wife, Marisa Dessì, aged 79 and 82 respectively, were discovered.

A DNA traced by the RIS specialists that, apparently, would not be compatible with that of the elderly woman. According to the Prosecutor's Office, both she and her husband would have been killed with a large dose of sodium nitrite (a meat preservative that can be toxic) and, perhaps, also suffocated. The suspect of the double crime is the couple's youngest son, Claudio Gulisano, 44 years old, in prison since last December 31st .

The latest twist came in the last few hours, when the Carabinieri of the RIS reportedly asked four people (not under investigation) to voluntarily undergo DNA testing in the next few days. Apparently, these are family members and people who, in the past, had dealings with the Gulisano family, but also others who do not belong to the nucleus but had access to the house in the months prior to the discovery of the bodies.
