More and more ducklings crowd the Muravera high water canal, along Via Sarrabus. A spectacle that enlivens the perimeter of the town center every day. There are also numerous people who, for some time now, have been going to the areas where the birds are found to feed them.

The mayor of Muravera Salvatore Piu has repeatedly highlighted that "they are our most welcome guests".

Numerous species can be found along the high water canal. In addition to ducklings (mallard to be precise), there are moorhens and herons (cattle egrets, little egrets and grays).
