The motorcyclists were identified, regardless of the ban on access with motor vehicles, who were riding their motorbikes on the beach of Is Solinas, on the Masainas coast, on January 1st.

The staff of the Iglesias Inspectorate - Sant'Antioco Forestry Station found them thanks to the video of a town on the beach.

The investigation activities concluded with the notification of the administrative violation and the raising of the fines (paid immediately) foreseen for transit on the beaches and dunes.

The Forestry Corps reminds «that transit with vehicles on the beaches and dunes is prohibited by the Regional Seaside Ordinance and punished pursuant to art. 1164 of the Navigation Code. The Forestry and Environmental Surveillance Corps has always been committed to the territory for the prevention of environmental crimes, whether of an administrative or criminal nature. Citizens who witness environmental violations of any kind can immediately report the fact to no. green 1515 of the CFVA of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, active 24 hours a day, thus immediately contributing to a more effective repression of the same violations and the identification of those responsible".
