More violence erupts in Cagliari's city center: a brawl breaks out among foreigners in a bar, with bottles being thrown and tables being overturned.

Fighting, bottles thrown, tables overturned. Violence continues in the heart of Cagliari. On Via Sassari, a stone's throw from Piazza del Carmine, as restaurants and bars were awaiting their first customers of the evening, several North Africans confronted one another and within minutes unleashed chaos.

Two rival groups confronted each other. The argument broke out in the lower part of the street. Then the chase began toward Via Mameli. And here the first violent blows began, amidst the already set tables of several businesses, which were overturned during the violence.

In a video recorded by someone who witnessed the prolonged scene, the foreigners can be seen running back toward the square. Here, bottles are thrown again, and there's more punching and shoving.

"Every day like this," says a restaurateur. The police were immediately called.
