Something is not right with the Region's line on wind power. In a video, released the day after the approval of law 5, the governor Alessandra Todde firmly declared that the moratorium would have blocked all works regardless.

In a statement on Thursday, it specified that it does not block the authorized interventions and for which the works began prior to the approval of the law. In the absence of certain numbers, judging by the movements taking place in the port of Oristano and the interventions on the roundabouts of many roads to facilitate the passage of large trucks, there must be very few.

Video

With the moratorium just approved, Todde announced a total blockade. « The question we are often asked is: what happens to the authorizations that have already been given? These authorizations are temporarily suspended,” he replies in a video. «We cannot start work. This is until we have defined what the operational scope is regarding our eligible areas. What will happen next? We will see if the authorizations of these plants fall within the areas we have defined or if it will be necessary to make adjustments."

The statement

In the statement released the day before yesterday immediately after the meeting with the ANCI, he remodeled the first version of the interpretation of the law, giving another. In essence, Todde maintains that the law «places a ban on the construction of new production and storage plants for electricity from renewable sources in the Sardinian territory and also applies where authorization procedures are underway at the date of entry into force of the law. of production and storage plants for electricity from renewable sources, so much so that, since we took office, no new authorizations have been issued either at regional or national level". That's not all: «Our transitional safeguard law does not block - and could not have blocked - works already authorized and for which work began prior to its approval. Therefore, I repeat it once again: law 5 is effective as regards the blocking of all initiatives for which work had not already begun prior to its entry into force". And again: «It should also be clarified that the non-blockable systems - that is, those for which work had already begun before the entry into force of the new law - are only a small part of those for which a request has been received. of authorization. The vast majority was effectively blocked by law 5. Facts, not words. Laws and not assumptions."
