The atmospheres of the golden age of Italian cinema, revisited in the present day: this is the music of Ave Mariachi , an instrumental trio from Cagliari who will return live on Saturday 18th at the Teatro Sirio in Monserrato , after last month's date at the Jester Club. The music will start at 8pm on the stage in via 31 marzo 1943 , with free entry with a conscious donation.

Ave Mariachi was born in the capital around 2017, with the artistic meeting of the current members Federico De Virgiliis (guitar), Marcello Zasso (bass) and Alessandro Curto (drums), who, by combining their common passions for genres such as surf rock, blues and acid variants, rockabilly, funky and film music – especially from the pulp, noir and Italian police genres – created an explosive musical mix, conceived precisely as a film soundtrack .

A work that revives the soundtracks and classic stylistic elements of the 1970s, which, however, is not simply a tribute, but rather revisits and makes the compositions and aesthetics chosen for the repertoire its own . Fitting into the cinematic revival trend , inaugurated in Italy by Calibro35 – of whom Ave Mariachi are obviously fans – the band is still awaiting a debut album, but some songs like " Lazy Trip " are already available on their online channels.
