Monastir, the thief of oranges caught: 110 kilos of citrus fruits in the trunk

In Monastir , a mobile radio crew from the Dolianova Company and another from Gesico Station intervened in the "Su Ziru" area: the owner of a citrus grove had just surprised a man while he was filling the trunk of his car with his precious citrus fruits.

When the patrols arrived on site, they found only the Peugeot 206 which kept the stolen goods: 110 kilos of freshly picked oranges .

After a brief search, the owner of the vehicle was found on the spot, an unemployed 31-year-old with a record who could not help but admit his responsibilities.

The man was reported for aggravated theft, the oranges returned to their rightful owner.
